I might not have known about it unless I read about it on this very page. It is double cool as I must have done something to the hierarchy of the Steam folder about five months ago.
I have been getting notifications upon starting up the instrument that I needed to reinstall the original sound sources and was not able to access any of the factory presets through the preset window of the gui. Now, after installing these updates I have everything back to specification. Everything magically sorted itself out. For the info, the software update works in OSX 10.9.5 however, the soundsource and library update installer don't finish the job, with the message 'failed to find output' (or something like that, sorry) been through the patches a little bit, everything seems fine. Had 1 'cannot load waveform' on one patch, but since it's been sporadically happening, I cannot tell if it's my install or the update. Anyway, got even more patches than I need so.
And for those who want to know also, update 2.4.2.C was also working fine on mavericks (10.9.5) roger, roger.
