After several attempts I decided to try it in Acid. I worked fine. Registration went through and Omnisphere works in Acid. I pulled studio one(2) back up.

It see Omnisphere but it still brings up the splash page as if the program is unregistered and it will not let me paste the challenge code in the window. It seems like Studio one is blocking internet access? Omnisphere challenge code not working

Registration went through and Omnisphere works in Acid. I pulled studio one(2) back up.

It see Omnisphere but it still brings up the splash page as if the program is unregistered and it will not let me paste the challenge code in the window. It seems like Studio one is blocking internet access? I had a similar issue with another plugin in S1 and the work-around was to run S1 as an admin. I have to always run as an admin, but it is not really an issue. BTW I have Trilian (same licensing system) and it works just fine, it was registered before the Studio One install.

I guess you'll need to contact Spectrasonics support about the 'challenge code doesnt exist' issue, unless anther beta tester has experienced a similar issue already and can provide some help here.

Unfortunately, I don't own any of Spectrasonics instruments, so I'm unable to help or confirm/deny if there's a known issue with challenge codes only on Reason. Though I've seen others here talking about running Spectrasonics instruments with R9.5 successfully. Edit: like this 'rogue' video demos, it's working. I authorised Omnisphere 2 in Sonar Platinum before taking it to Reason. After making sure the VSTi worked in Sonar, I closed that and opened the logging version of Reason, firing up Omnisphere straight away, without problem.

I did have some problems authorising the software in Sonar, but that was user error (username muddles). I'm guessing at least some people here were forced to use a DAW in addition to Reason because of the VST issue and therefore had a stable app in which to install anything new. If you don't have a different DAW to try to use for authorisation, then perhaps you will need Spectrasonics support (you might need them anyway).

If you do, ignore their stated hours. They open 9-5 but they are GMT+8 or something, which means they got back to me at 2 in the morning, their time. Best of luck; it's an awesome piece of software! It was a recurent problem with windows 10. I copy you the message from spectatronics.

Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 Response Code

Hi Max, On Windows 10, the following steps are necessary when launching your DAW to authorize a Spectrasonics Instrument properly: Right-click on your DAW's icon on your desktop Select ‘Properties’ Select ‘Compatibility’ Select ‘Run this program as an administrator’ Select ‘Apply’ If you do not typically use a desktop icon when launching your DAW, please create one and follow the necessary steps above. Then, launch your DAW from the icon you edited and attempt authorizing again, as per these instructions.
